Siberian Banker Training Center (SBTC or Center) was registered as nongovernmental educational institution at January,20 1995. Several huge banks from Siberian region are shareholders of the Center:
- Omskpromstroibank (Omsk),
- Novosibirskvneshtorgbank (Novosibirsk),
- Siberian Academy of Public Administration (Novosibirsk)
The main goal of SBTC is a teaching (qualification approval) of bankers in actual trends of banking. SBTC is oriented to provide complex of highly qualified services and development of professional skills in the definite sphere of banking.

The seminars are conducted with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) with direct participation of Barents Group LLC KPMG Peat Marwick company, one of leading consulting companies in the world, and Financial Services Volunteer Corps. Highly qualified prominent specialists in banking from Russia and USA conduct the seminars. While education session participants are able not only to get acquanted with world wide practice and methology of approach to solving of examined banking problems but analyze, estimate and workout the decision of the problem applied to Russian reality. That is why the characteristic performance of the seminars is combination of theory and practice.
The graduates of our seminars get international certificates. SBTC activity has regional direction. SBTC holds seminars not only in Novosibirsk but in other cities of the Siberian region (Omsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Tumen, etc.) Interested banks and financial structures can order the seminar in another city on banking problem.
